    Expand/collapse
    Description

Compact windrow formed by double swathe-boards, 1949. Comparison was made between two methods of forming windrows with the mower for harvesting white clover seed. Windrows were formed by two methods: 1. Mowing with a six foot cut power-take-off mower fitted with the standard single outside swathe board. 2. Mowing with the same mower fitted with two swathe boards of special design, one inside and one outside, as described in the Annual Report, 1948.
