Ian B. MacDougall

Corporal Ian Barnes MacDougall received his education at King's College, which he left to come to Lincoln College. After a course of two years he enlisted at the age of 19 in the Rifle Brigade. His Company was in the first line trench, and he was to have been a battalion sniper, but was killed by a shell one night while nobly trying to carry a wounded comrade to a place of safety.
