1979 McCaskill Courtyard 3

This courtyard was located at the entrance to the McCaskill Building which houses the Tussock Grasslands and Mountain Lands Institute. It was named in honour of Lance McCaskill who was the Institute's first Director, and is also an Honorary fellow of the N.Z.I.L.A. Built in early 1979, the primary contractor was John Thomson. The College's teaching, administrative, and research staff co-operated throughout the project.
