    Description

The Landscape No. 40, Summer 1989. Creative Development

The 1989 NZILA Conference was a landmark affair and an event which will undoubtedly influence the direction and nature of landscape architecture in New Zealand. The Martha Schwartz philosophy, personality and work clearly inspired a large number of landscape architects, particularly those who attended her workshops. Rodney Beaumont and Bruce Mackenzie, our other overseas guests at the Conference, presented a range of their project work all of which clearly demonstrated aspects of creative development.
