    Description

Factory faring in beef production, Lincoln College 1966

Great interest has been shown in the enterprise of D. P. Graham (39-49), Ahuriri, Tai Tapu, whose cattle fattening unit which will have an outpput of about 1,200 cattle a year, is said to be the only in New Zealand in which the beasts are totally enclosed and will be fattened all the year round. The following account of Mr Graham's development was published in the Christchurch "Press", June 5th 1966 and is reproduced here with the permission of Mr D. Fyfe, Agricultural Editor, "The Press"
