“The technical aspects of landscape”

Earl Bennet trained as a landscape architect in the USA. He qualified in 1972 and immigrated to New Zealand the year after, where he worked at the Ministry of Works until 1975. He then joined the staff at Lincoln College as a lecturer and senior lecturer in landscape architecture until 1980. During this period, he was involved in the post-graduate DipLA design studio teaching, tutored DipLA students on their major designs and taught landscape technology to the Dip LA, DipLT and DipParks students. Earl continued teaching and studio tutoring in the landscape architecture department on a part-time casual basis for another 34 years, until 2014.
