Canterbury Earthquakes

The 2010 and 2011 Canterbury earthquakes have profoundly changed the people, campus and community. This collection presents the images, documents and projects associated with those days, weeks and months of uncertainty and shows how positively the Lincoln University community responded.

One of the outcomes from the sequence of earthquakes was the eventual demise of the Hilgendorf Building. A separate collection of deconstruction images have been archived for viewing along with the other historical images of the campus buildings.
