2008 State of the Nation's Environment Address - Jan Wright

The 2008 Lincoln University State of the Nation's Environment Address

Freedom and independence to prioritise and select projects that can significantly improve
stewardship of the environment is a responsibility taken seriously by New Zealand's
Parliamentary Commissioner for the Environment, Dr Jan Wright.

Delivering Lincoln University's 10th annual State of the Nation 's Environment address on the
campus this year, Dr Wright said that in a world of increasingly numerous environmental
problems and issues it was essential to prioritise them for attention and the allocation of
human and financial resources.
