Lincoln University’s unique history combined with more recent contemporary growth in the wider land-based disciplines means we now occupy a specialist position covering globally significant areas of learning. It is the rural–urban interface of agribusiness; elements of biology and ecology; land, air and water resources management; production processes; marketing; transformation and use of food; spatial planning and landscape architecture; consumption and human wellbeing; and recreation and tourism. The University’s overall focus is transforming land, people and economies.
The Lincoln campus is located about 20-minutes south of Christchurch, on the east coast of the South Island, New Zealand, in picturesque and park-like 58-hectare grounds. This campus provides a supportive, multi-cultural atmosphere. With a student population of approximately 3,500, representing over 60 different countries, this is an easy place to make friends: http://www.lincoln.ac.nz
