Vic-Chancellor's Invitational PhD dinner

Around 90 guests attended this second annual dinner. In addition to the guests ofhonour - the PhD graduands and their family members - those present included Chancellor Tom Lambie, Vice-Chancellor Dr Andrew West, Postgraduate Director Professor Ken Hughey, the Team Leader (Postgraduate) Bernadette Mani, and Alumni & Development Office staff. Professor Hughey was MC once again, but as he is standing down from the PG Director’s role (after more than 11 years of service!) it was his swansong. Professor Charles Brennan now takes over as Director. The dinner, launched last year as a new and special addition to the University’s calendar of events, was appreciated by all who attended and was a fitting celebration to congratulate the PhD graduands.
