As a renowned printmaker she uses her work to make connections between people and place.

After buying the old Ida Valley Hotel in the 1980s this area of Central Otago became a focus for her interest in protecting the ecological, spiritual and cultural features of the land. The feminine circular symbols at the bottom of Blue Night Ida Valley contain the elements of earth, air, water and fire; while the monotype above depicts the night sky of the Ida Valley.

Webb (ONZM) is well-known for her innovative approach to printmaking, and the testing of tradition printmaking hierarchies. She has had a long career as an art educator and her work is held in major public collection throughout New Zealand.
