The sculpture was later created and installed in the centre of our campus, outside Ivey West, ensuring it was accessible to all students, staff, and visitors.

The variations in refined surfaces, from the polished stone slab through the matte sides and to the roughly chiselled main structure represent the imposition of order on chaos. Brady said that "When operating, the 'chaotic' state is expressed by the falling water. The polished granite top is meant to be an ambiguity, in terms of the stone's natural properties; and as a reflecting surface echoes that of the pool."

Having been a part of our campus for nearly half a decade 'Water Feature' stands as a touching reminder of all the creative and passionate individuals who have shaped Te Whare Wānaka o Aoraki Lincoln University over the years.
