Mr John Deans (left), Chairman of the Canterbury Frozen Meat Co. Ltd., and former member of the College Board of Governors, presenting his Company's silver challenge cup to K. H. Shirtcliff (46-47), who farms at Tai Tapu, and who exhibited the winning pen of lambs in the district export lamb competition. The same lambs later won the award of the competition in London.
