Five Lincoln College students who left New Zealand will be among the first of this country 's students to spend a full year of their first-degree course at an overseas university.

The college is allowing the five third-year students to spend 1976 in the United States attending Oregon State University and success will be accepted as equivalent to a full year of their degree course.

The students are Miss W. Stewart, of Lincoln , Messrs G. Scott (Temuka), J. McLeod (Oamaru), I. Jackson (Makikihi), and A. Petch (Pio Pio). (1976 LC Magazine (No. 101, 1976, P86))
