    In 1968 the Lincoln College Cricket Team sailed on the TEV Wahine to Wellington, but disaster struck when the ship was blown onto rocks in a violent storm during the approach to Wellington Harbour. In the chaos and challenging conditions that followed, all team members were very lucky to survive.
