The Springston and Lincoln College j teams met on the latter’s (pound on Saturday, the College winning by seven wickets. Scores:—Springston 42 and 48 (Kimber 21, Macdonald 20 not out, Greaves 10), College 56 and 37 for three wickets (Maude 15, Brown 14, Colebatch 10, Chapman 10). McCrostie and Macdonald bowled well for Springston, and Colebatch and Williams for the Collage. At Kirwee, on Saturday, Kirwee defeated Weedons by 80 runs. W. Wright (18). A. Stewart (18), and McNao (18 not out) alone got double figures for Kirwee, and Curragh and F. Davidson for Weedons, and R. Wright and A. Anderson, for Kirwee, bowled best. The ladies provided afternoon tea. The Canterbury Agricultural College defeated Springston on the College ground, on Saturday, by six wickets and 11 run*. J. C. Colebatch and W. J. Colebatch played well for the College, the latter taking three wickets with four balls. For the losers Macdonald, Kimber and McCrostie were best.
