As one of the three most accessible glacier regions in the world and the largest glacier in New Zealand, the Tasman Glacier is particularly fascinating. Unfortunately, the retreat of the Tasman Glacier over the past few decades has made it more difficult for people to access it from the ground. Still, no traveler is unwilling to overcome this difficulty for such a unique view. Due to the reflection of light from the clouds and ground, the valley is covered with a gray-blue veil, making the glacier appear more mysterious.
