Canterbury Agricultural College Rowing Tournament Crews. At Easter Tournament this year, in addition to our usual delegations to N.Z.U.S.A., N.Z.U.S.U. and N.Z.U.S.P.C., we were allowed to enter our own teams if we wished, instead of combining with Canterbury University. Lincoln really hit the headlines when they won both the minor rowing races. As there were not eight oarsmen available we did not have an eight; instead a four and double scull were entered. The double scull in particular won very convincingly and thus C.A.C. notched its first points ever at an Easter Tournament by being awarded 4 points for coming second in the rowing shield. As Easter Tournament was in Christchurch, Lincoln students gained even more than usual from this tournament by having a large social contingent participating in the non-sporting activities.
