    A portrait of the late William Osborne Rennie. Mr Rennie, who died on December 30th at the age of 70, was well known throughout Canterbury for the practical interest he had shown in farming for many years. He was born at Doyleston, where he lived all his life and where his death occurred. Mr Rennie was educated at Doyleston, Christchurch Boys' High School, and Lincoln College (1897-98). He is survived by Mrs Rennie and two sons, Messrs A. O. Rennie and G. E. Rennie.
