DescriptionHistory of the Lincoln University Kellogg Programme. Back in 1978 John Pryde of Lincoln College recognised the need for leadership and professional development in rural New Zealand. John visited the USA’s Kellogg Foundation and, with $250,000 from the Foundation, he set up the Lincoln programme in 1979 using the USA model. Since then there have been 28 courses run and a total of 632 Kelloggers are now contributing to the rural sector.
