An inaugural Staff Garden Party was held in February. Approximately 300 staff members attended the function. A highlight of the event was the presentation of the 2009 Lincoln University Medals. It was also an opportunity to acknowledge other significant staff achievements throughout 2009. The 2009 Medallists were: Errol Costello; Roy Edwards; Roger McLenaghen; Max Duncan and David Iones (jointly); and Jane Edwards, Frances Granger, Clare Lewis, and Aileen Taylor (jointly).
