John Bayne

Mr John Bayne M.A., B.Sc., Director of Canterbury Agricultural College 1894-1901. Mr John Bayne, who was a good Scottish farming family, had a distinguished University career, and before accepting his Director's position had been Principal of the Agricultural College at Cairo, Egypt - one of the beneficent institutions established under the British control.
