The 2009 collection of Major Design work produced by students of the School of Landscape Architecture at Lincoln University showcases their breadth and depth of vision, inspirational and dynamic approaches, coupled with an enthusiasm for the way they can create a sense of place and contribute to the future sustainability of the global environment.
The disciplinary scope for researchers and practitioners in this profession involves investigating challenges in landscape design, biodiversity, ecological infrastructure, environmental planning and management, restoration, conservation and heritage.
This professional group formulates lasting cohesive spaces that enhance and improve the environment, through planning, partnerships and practice, tackling global problems in innovative ways to find solutions that inspire and shape the world.
Students graduating from Lincoln University will continue be employed in the design and construction of urban, rural, residential and public landscapes that will be creative, engaging and functional. Their Major Design portfolios demonstrate they will be acknowledged as leaders in the next generation of Landscape Architects.
