Vision: By  integrating  the  existing  public  open  space  and  fragmented  void  zones  in  the   Christchurch  city  centre,  a  park  system  is  created  to  catering  the  various  daily  need of different people and also serves to earthquake prevention and evacuation purposes.

Goals

1. Improve the performance of existing public open space to catering the various needs of the local community.

2. Make the existing public open space seismic-resilient that serves not only to provide a safe space but also enhance the connectivity between urban fabrics for better evacuation in an earthquake.

3. Increase the awareness of people towards an earthquake and make them mentally prepared.
