Vision: On the southern point of the Kaikoura peninsula, South Bay will become the ‘Gateway to the Ocean’. This new hub, where the land meets the sea, will draw in sustainable tourism based on the principles of ‘limits of acceptable design’, sustainable education and cultural enrichment. This hub will provide a vibrant asset to the community, showcasing the incredible marine environment.
