Design Vision: To develop a coastal outdoor recreation and ecological centre for Christchurch and tourists to celebrate important Ngai Tahu value and landfill industrial value on site, as well as to cope with the highly damaged landscape and sea level rise aroused by global climate change which involves sustainable practices, natural processes and habitat enhancement .
