CollectionAlumni ReunionsDescription
LUSA’s 100th birthday was celebrated in style on Thursday night. Over 80 guests enjoyed an evening of food, speeches, reminiscences, and entertainment, under the warm and friendly MC-ing of Hilary Muir from The Breeze Radio Station. Former Chancellor Margaret Austin made a surprise presentation to Student President Kristy Havill of a LU rugby jersey she had been given by students to wear at her final Council meeting in 2004.
The night included the unveiling of a plaque marking the University Council’s recognition of LUSA’s contributions to campus buildings and facilities, and a ‘couch interview’ by Hilary with Kristy and former Senior Lecturer Dr Warwick Scott about ‘life and times at Lincoln’.
