Lincoln University student Caroline McBain from Otane, Hawkes Bay, has won the Alistair Beere Memorial Prize for gaining top marks in two of her papers for the Bachelor of Commerce (Agricultural) degree.

Caroline gained the highest marks in her class for the 200-level papers Farm Management Analysis and Principles of Rural Valuation.

The Memorial Prize consists of a contribution towards the cost of textbooks and the cost of travel associated with case study work in the final year of study.
