20 December 2001 Lincoln University Students Association Condemns Staff Vote

Lincoln University Students' Association President Greg Henderson today spoke out in condemnation of the staff vote of no confidence in Lincoln University Vice-Chancellor Frank Wood.

"This kind of tactic is unproductive and misguided," Henderson said." There is simply not enough money in this university for an academic pay rise. If staff want to be taken seriously on this issue, they should be targeting the government, not the Vice-Chancellor. It is the government who is responsible for under funding the tertiary sector."
