"This is a fairly complete record of the Valuation and Farm Management students during the period Mr R.H. Bevin was on the staff of Lincoln College. It begins with the 1938 group and runs through to 1940 with then a war time gap beginning again in 1944 and running through to 1949 when Mr R. H. Bevin left Lincoln College to set up the New Zealand Meat and Wool Economic Service. He left Lincoln College at the end of 1949." Comments by C. R. Tebb.

These pages are from an historical photograph album tracing the first decade of the Valuation and Farm Management Diploma at Canterbury Agricultural College. The album consists of thirty five pages of photographs and front and rear covers, both of which include some information. All the album pages have captions describing the photo locations and/or the people included in the photos.

The photographs trace the student groups from the first year of the Diploma, 1938, through the years of the Second World War and finishing with the 1949 class. These years cover the involvement of R. H. Bevin with the Diploma which he helped establish at CAC before he left the College at the end of 1949 to set up the New Zealand Meat and Wool Economic Service.

- a  formal group photo of the 1948 VFM class.
