4 March 2002 Registration 2002 delivers busy campus for Semester One

New enrolments up 13 percent ... enrolments overall up 2.6 percent, but still to be confirmed ... in general terms applications to study in science, commerce and management up ... a very significant increase in postgraduate students. That was the official word from the Vice-Chancellor to the University Council on 19 February.

In a nutshell, there are more students around on campus right now than this time last year. And few staff members would dispute the impression that the place does seem busier than February 2001.

Lincoln University's Registration Period ran from 13-15 February and its Late Registration Period from 18 February to 1 March. The Academic Year opened with the start of lectures on 18 February.
