21 September 2022 11th Annual Lincoln University Sport and Recreation Forum

Join us to celebrate the sport and recreation sector, here and overseas, and hear from Lincoln academics and students about their research.

The event features keynote speaker, Commonwealth Games Federation CEO, and Lincoln alumna, Katie Sadleir as well as research presentations by Dr Tom Kavanagh, and postgraduate students, and concludes with a Q&A session.

Afterwards, there is an opportunity for sector professionals, LU staff and students to network with one another during afternoon tea as well as tour the new Whare Hākinakina LU Gym.

This is a free event, open to Lincoln students and staff, sport and recreation sector professionals, and anyone interested in the area.

Timetable

12pm-1pm: *Optional Speed Meeting (professionals informally chat with current students and recent graduates).

1pm- 1:30pm: Welcome and Keynote

1:30pm – 3:00pm: Presentations, Q&A, and closing remarks.

3:00pm-3:30pm: Adjourn for afternoon tea and networking as well as optional tour of Whare Hākinakina LU Gym.
