Design Intent: Enhance Lyttelton's unique characteristics while integrating new development that improves public amenity. Lyttelton is to become a significant attraction for leisure and recreation with public facilities and walkways focussed around the water. Retention of the existing town characteristics for the enjoyment of the local community, while providing new possibilities to explore he harbour edge.
