    Donald R. Craib (1948-49)

     

    Obiturary: D. R. Craib died in Invercargill as a result of illness, in August 1965. He took the College diploma in agriculture in 1949 after commencing the course three years before on the cadet scheme then in operation. During his time at the College he was prominent in cricket and was also captain of the hockey team. He worked on .farms for a period but in 1952 entered the Christchurch Training College and became qualified as a primary school teacher. He was an assistant at New Brighton and. Roslyn, became sole teacher at Glenroy in 1956, head-teacher at Hillend South
