Sumner: Your Sea, Your Life - Di Wang

Introduction:  Located at the south eastern edge of Christchurch City, Sumner, a beautiful coastal suburb, used to be loved by people in Christchurch. Its geographic setting, against the coast and Port Hills, emphasizes the unique character and appeal of the suburb.

However, the previous earthquakes caused serious issues in Sumner, such as rockfall and infrastructure damage. On the other hand, in the context of future sea level rise, risk of inundation associated with the greater frequency of extreme tidal levels will increase. What's m re, local people in Sumner are not satisfy with some of the current site conditions. My design focus on solving these issues and then bringing people a better Sumner.
