Design Vision: My vision for this site is to base my ideas on the theory that the landscape is a machine. One that can function without human intervention and that is composed of dynamic parts. This means creating a place that has ecological integrity and can act to serve as a filtration system that would intersect the Avon River catchment, process the water through integrated water channels and eject it as a cleaner entity. My equally strong vision is to also re-establish native vegetation that has been destroyed by human development. I am to create an exemplar site that is rich in native flora and fauna, that would serve as a model for the Residential Red Zone development.
