Lincoln University is a channel partner for the biggest food and fibre summit of the year.
E Tipu: The Boma NZ Agri Summit, held on 11-12 May at Christchurch Town Hall, is a two-day event packed with the latest information on future trends, case studies and new technology affecting the agricultural industries across New Zealand.
The summit aims to help the food and fibre sectors to become more innovative, sustainable, collaborative and profitable, now and into the future.
E Tipu 2021 is designed to empower attendees to take tangible action, so they leave ready for what comes next. Each day of the summit is structured to create the best possible conditions for making this tangible action happen.
Two Lincoln University Future Leader scholars will receive free entry to the event. Bachelor of Agricultural Science students, McKenzie Frear and Luke Robb, were granted the tickets for clocking up the highest number of hours of community service in the last year as part of the Future Leader Scholarship Programme.
The scholars are also instrumental in providing support to recruitment events and activities on campus.
E Tipu 2021 will offer excellent networking experiences for McKenzie and Luke, as they work to grow their career opportunities before completing their degrees.
