19 December 1984 New appointees to the Lincoln College Council

There have been two changes to the Lincoln College Council : Dr Arthur John (Jock) Allison has been elected by graduates and diploma holders, and Mr John (Jock) Webster has been appointed by Federated Farmers.

Mr I.D. (Ian) Leggat has been appointed by the University of Canterbury Council for a further term on the college council.

Dr Allison, director of the MAF Invermay Agricultural Research Centre at Mosgiel, succeeds Mr Albert Eric (Eric) Gibson, while Mr Webster, from North Otago and local chairman of Federated Farmers, replaces Mr Bernard Pinney.

Dr Allison, Mr Webster and Mr Leggat will serve on the council for three years from January 1 next.
