Sir Turi, who was a student at Canterbury Agricultural College in 1910-11, went on to become a leader in agriculture and Maori life in New Zealand. He was awarded the Bledisloe Medal in 1940, was made an OBE in 1952, and was knighted in 1962.
The document, compiled by E. J. Magee is stored in the Library Archive at Lincoln University (Archive DU469.C2Mag). Most of the photographs are poor-quality copies, printed on textured paper. Photographs scanned in October 2015.
