    About

    Sergeant Eion A. Robertson was educated at the Dannevirke High School. He subsequently came to Lincoln, and was engaged in farming until he enlisted at Hastings in the Mounted Section of the 18th Reinforcements. He was a member of the ANZAC Mounted Corps that so distinguished itself in Egypt and it was while fighting in the brilliant victory at Rafa that he met his death on January 9th, 1917.
