Design Vision: To create high quality public spaces in Wellington harbour area, for increasing connectivity between the central city and the waterfront area, improving public interactions and reducing unwanted disturbances. (50 years vision)

The overall design thinking is to relocate existing land use on the current large reclamation area which is dominated by industrial use. Then, on existing land, establish a sustainable mixed-use site that contains variety of public spaces. The proposed design will provide a lot of opportunities for live, work, play and make money. Both local people and tourists will benefit from it. It will be a good example for mixed-use harbour redevelopment in New Zealand.
