    Percy Harold Davies did the three year diploma course (1925-27). A prominent Timaru businessman for more than 40 years and a first-class sportsman, he was co-manager (with his brother, Mr W. C. Davies) of McGruer Davies and Co. Ltd., the family drapery business which closed in 1979 after 101 years.

    A Londoner, Mr Davies came to New Zealand at the age of 14. He was a member of Lincoln's staff from 1928 to 1931. 

    Died in Timaru in May 1982.
