Seventeen Australian secondary students are getting a glimpse of what studying in New Zealand, and at Lincoln University would be like.
The students, from across Australia, won a place on Land The Trip after telling why they would be keen to cross the Tasman, and will be on the Lincoln Campus, as well as travelling around locations to show them all the university and the South Island has to offer, for a week.
They are being hosted by University staff and Future leader students.
They are taking in the University’s Open Day as well as attending mini lectures from each of the academic faculties throughout the week.
They are here to experience all of life at Lincoln and attended an open mic night organsied by the student association as part of semester two Orientation, which is also underway.
Land the Trip is an annual event run by the University, and many students chose to study at Lincoln because of the experiences they had on the visit.
