Lincoln University rugby fans have had to be careful not to book any winter breaks in July lately.
For the fourth time in as many years the men’s premier side are in the Metro rugby final, hoping to win their fourth consecutive title.
They will take on New Brighton, who will be looking for revenge after losing the final to Lincoln University in 2016, at Rugby Park on Sunday at 3pm.
It has been a stellar year for Lincoln again, despite the churn of players which hits a university side as players graduate. New faces have stepped up to the mark to fill holes left by the likes of Jack Goodhue, and the side continues to set the benchmark in Christchurch men’s club rugby.
Good luck and congratulations to their side on a great effort, regardless of Sunday's result.
