Severed from the mainland after a catastrophic seismic event without access to clean water, Te Kete uruuru matua kowhaki tuwhenua was claimed for those who still loved this weeping landscape and were willing to go without the excesses that mainlanders typically strive for. With input from whanau returning input from abroad, biodynamics was infused into the culture as it was their own.
