SOLA50 CELEBRATION

The following collection of oral histories has been curated to mark the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary celebrations of the founding of the School of Landscape Architecture at Lincoln University.

The audio excerpts in this collection highlight past developments and events that record the changes of the last fifty years, and are selected from oral history interviews with landscape architects recorded by Shona McCahon. They are derived from several oral history projects that were carried out over a number of years, and are part of the developing digital archive for SoLA, where a growing network of linked resources is forming both a heritage collection and a source of current student work.

Participants are acknowledged for their generosity and willingness to be a part of these projects, and in keeping with the intention of the interviews they are made available for further reference here. The source and copyright is attributed with each interview.
