Nukurārangi Regional Park: a place of human nature experience - Ella Christian-Farrow

Design Intent: This regional plan focuses on creating a place where human and nature experiences are combined. A multifunctional landscape approach will be undertaken to facilitate further access for wildlife from offshore islands to the North, completing a protected loop of the Manaia Ecological District. Existing recreational opportunities within this network will be enhanced and new ones developed, as well as geographical and cultural connections between the site and its surrounding landscape.
