The new Landscape Architecture Building was officially opened by the Minister of Economic Development, the Hon Gerry Brownlee, on 20 November 2010, part of a weekend of celebrations commemorating 40 years of Landscape Architecture being taught at Lincoln University.
The new building is located on the central campus at Lincoln University adjacent to the Stewart Building and at the rear of Lincoln University's foundation building, Ivey Hall. In October the new building won an award in the Public Architecture category of the Canterbury Architecture Awards.
