The cemetery is the most essential human landscape. Burying our dead is a profound expression of our relationship with Each other and with our environment. Burial is characterised by our fundamental need to remember through location. The cemetery is a dialogue between life and death, it is a threshold of existence; a place of passage; a transition point between one place and another. It ips a place for the soul to journey and a place to remember.
