    About

Harold Harding was educated at Wanganui Collegiate School, and subsequently attended Lincoln College from 1912 to 1913. He enlisted in the Army and left with the Main Body in October 1914, and took part in the landing at Gallipoli on 25 April 1915. He was seen to fall shortly afterwards and was listed as missing in action believed to be killed.

Date of Death25 April 1915In MemoriamEx-Lincolnians heard with very deep regret of the demise of Harold Harding, who was posted missing after the landing at Gallipoli. He was educated at Wanganui Collegiate School, and subsequently attended Lincoln College from 1912 to 1913. Harding was a strapping type of New Zealander, and would have developed into a first-class farmer. At College he will be remembered for his pluck at football, and for the loyalty and earnestness of his character. Genial and willing at all times, he was much liked by a very wide circle of friends, and very genuine sympathy will go out to the parents of such a gallant soldier.
